A God who doesn't change

Study Guide

The following may help you reflect further on the message
(the points could also be used as a discussion guide at fellowship groups)

  1. God still loves us. What do you look back on to remind yourself of God's love?
  2. God still demands respect. What does bringing "good sacrifices" look like for Christians?
  3. God still means his rules to be kept. How do we do this? What does it mean for us to "guard ourselves in our spirit"?
  4. God still plans to judge. How does Malachi's prophecies tally with Jesus? How do you feel about these words?
  5. What does God mean by "Test me... and see if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing you will not have room for it"?
  6. Futile to serve God? Yes or No? What return do we experience and expect?
