1. John 3v1-7 talks about being ‘born again’. Why do you think this is
   an important part of the gospels? What do you understand by it?
2. What kind of heavenly inheritance are you looking forward to? What
   are the most exciting things about this prospect?
3. How aware do you think you are of the heavenly ‘big picture’ Peter
   paints for us in 1 Peter 1v3-9? Is this something you think about
   regularly? Do you think it would change anything if you did think
   about it regularly? Why?
4. How does Peter link together rejoicing, grief and faith in this passage?
5. 1 Peter 1v7 says “…your faith, of greater worth than gold”. Why do
   you think God values our faith so much?
6. What are the challenges we face in loving and believing in an
   invisible God? How do we explain this to other people?
